Getting caught up and first day at Napa 9/22/2013

Summer 2013 has gone by so quickly it seemed like it was only 3 weeks, wait the warm weather in Ohio was only about 3 weeks. Those weeks were fun at the lake.

Amy and Tony moved to Henderson, Nevada at the end of July and we did a road trip with Amy and her black lab Sofie. It was a great trip with a lot of country seen.

We are in Lee Canyon about 30 miles from Las Vegas where it is  nice and cool.

This is were Amy and Tony now live. Henderson is right next to Las Vegas and it is a nice town. They can be to Lake Mead in about 15 minutes or to the mountains in about an hour.

 We went to the Niagara Falls Fiberglass trailer rally on Sept 14th, it was a great time. If you click on the link you can see some wonderful pics of the event. These were taken by John Vermilye.

We hiked at Napa Valley about 5 miles in the redwoods.

Our first Winery was Castello Di Amorosa , 107 room castle.

This was one of the rooms in the castle. We are waiting for food.

The wine was excellent and Don purchased a case. Don is helping the cashier, she needed it.
