We stopped at Sweet Tomato for lunch in Orlando. We have a friend Bob that loves this chain of restaurants.
The view as we cross over Peace River at Fisherman's Village.
 Sunset from behind our house.
There was a lot of color.
Another picture of the sunset color.
It is nice to be home, to look at our canal and seeing all or our friends. This is the end of this blog. We will start another in the future with our travels.

Oct 24 Last day of our journey to home, Punta Gorda

This is our last day before we get home to Punta Gorda. We rode our bikes to town, just as we did 31 years ago from the campground.
The lighthouse is gorgeous, we always love to see it.
You can go up it and it is great, but this time we passed.
This is the sign to the restaurant that we had lunch at yesterday.
 Boats moored downtown St. Augustine
We had lunch at O. C. White's. I had tuna and Becky had a linguini with shrimp and fish.
Becky is hanging out with the local pirates.
I think this witch is looking at me.
 O. C. Whites is well worth the stop.
The Bridge of Lions was redone a few years ago, but they did a great job of keeping the original flair.
From the Bridge you can get a good look of the fort.
a We did the Chocolate Factory in St. Augustine, nice hair nets.
After the tours we went to our favorite fish market Kyles and got some red snapper. It was even better than the grouper that we had the night before. I think I could convert to fish only menu.

Oct. 23 St. Augustine, FL

As we were leaving Ft. Clinch this morning the trees and sun deserved a photograph.
We arrived at St. Augustine just in time for lunch.  The Conch House has outdoor dinning in tiki huts along the water.  Doug had  fish taco featuring Wahoo.  I had calamari and banana pepper rings.  Yum!
We have been to this place before and they always have a few doves hanging around.  Why, I'm not sure.
The Conch house has many opportunities to do many things.
You can see the tiki huts behind Becky.
They are having a party in November.
This is what it looks like at the street, if you were not careful you would not find the restaurant behind the motel.
Tweety and the turtle are having a race.
Our campsite at Anastasia State Park, one of our favorite places to camp. We first

Beauty Berries are out in full force. Not sure what you do with them but it is rumored that the Indians used them to make dye.

Oct 22, Our anniversary. Our camper is celebrating the same number of years 1971

Fort Clinch in Fernandina, Florida. We like this site, lot 43, close to the restroom and the campground is close to the fort.
As we were getting ready to leave this little guy made his appearance in St James Campground
You can walk all around this fort. It has many passages.
You can see the ghost glow up the stairs
This was a great day, we made it to Florida, our home state. It is warm and humid, just like Florida should be.

Oct 20 Charleston , St James Island Campground

A pic of our campsite at James Island county campground for the next two days.  (near Charleston, SC)

another view of Tweety at our campsite.
We love the bike trails this campground offers winding through wooded trails on smooth asphalt pathway

This is a display of palm trees
amidst another one of their displays.  They have a multitude of light displays which I can only imagine would be breathtaking when lite.
This being Oct. 20 and we are standing next to a Christmas Tree.   It appears they are rushing the season but there is so much to be done.
We cooked our own shrimp, broccoli and cheese/garlic grits for dinner tonight.
All served up pared with a nice Riesling wine.
Tweety feeling festive tonight.
Finished with a nice roaring campfire.
